SUMMARY OF MY WORK HISTORY:
- Graduated as an acupuncturist in 1976
- During the 1980's and 1990's I held several positions as a senior office bearer of several Australian and international natural and traditional medicine associations
- Acupuncture Ethics and Standards Organisation (AESO)
- Australian Traditional Medicine Society Limited
- World Federation of Acupuncture/Moxibustion Societies (WFAS)
- Australian Natural Therapist Association (ANTA)
- Over the years I have been invited as a special guest to several international conferences as both a lecturer and chairperson
- I have participated in workshops for the development of National Competency Standards
- I have been consulted by the World Health Organisation in regard to draft acupuncture documentation
- I have been consulted by both Australian and NZ government acupuncture course assessment committees
- Over the years I have made organisational representation to three Federal Health Ministers, seven State Health Ministers and two international Health Ministers. Other representations include numerous representations to health funds and natural and traditional therapy colleges.
- I have been presented with two international awards for international contributions to acupuncture

- Whilst senior office bearer for major professional associations I regularly wrote professional updates 3 - 5 articles per annum.
- In 2004 I was presented "Pride of Workmanship" Award from the Guildford Rotary Club
- My business was a finalist in the 2004 local Small Business Awards
